Pick Up or Multi Location Jobs

For jobs that require you to stop at another location before navigating to the end customer, for example picking up stock for delivery at an offsite warehouse, you can now navigate to multiple addresses within the same job using Radaro.

There are a number of modular features that you can while completing a pick-up, including pick-up confirmation and barcode scanning. Below you will find the various ways you can successfully complete a pick-up depending which modular features have been turned on for your operations:

Regular Pickup

Start by selecting the job you wish to complete in your Radaro app. If a pick-up address has been entered for this job, you will be asked if you would like to navigate to the pick-up location or the customer when you press “Start”.

Select “Pick-up” and navigate to the Pick-up location. You are able to push this address out to your navigation app by selecting the maps icon. Once you have picked up the goods from this location select “Picked up”.

You will then be asked if you would like to proceed to the customer or pause to complete another job. To complete the job, select “Proceed” and navigate to the customer. Once onsite you will be able to complete your delivery confirmation as normal.

Pause Status

Radaro gives you the ability to pause a job once you have completed a pick-up, in order to start another job. This can be used for when you are required to pick-up goods/parts for all the orders of the day before executing your job run.

Once you have completed your pick-up for a particular order, you will be asked if you would like to pause the job or proceed to the customer. Select “Pause”.

You will now notice that your job has turned purple, to indicate that the pick-up has been completed but you are not en route to the customer. Once you are ready to complete the job, select “In Progress” to begin your navigation to the customer.

Pick-up Confirmation

Similar to when you complete a delivery confirmation, you can complete a pick-up confirmation to capture evidence that the pick-up was completed.

Begin the pick-up as normal. If this feature has been turned on by management, you will be automatically prompted to add confirmation files once you select “Picked up”. Radaro allows you to take up to 5 high-resolution photos, a signature or any additional comments.

Once you have uploaded your completion files and selected “Confirm”, you will be asked if you would like to proceed to the customer or pause the job to begin another.

Barcode Scanning

To scan the Transit Labels of the goods you pick up, simply select “Picked-up” or the barcode scanning icon in the top right-hand side of the screen.

When selecting “Picked-up”, you will be shown a list of the barcodes required to be scanned on for pick-up and off for delivery. Select “Scan” to open the label scanner and scan these barcodes.

Once you have scanned all the required barcodes select “Proceed”. If you are required to add a pick-up confirmation file you will be asked to do so now. If a pick-up confirmation is not required, you will be asked if you would like to pause the job or proceed to the customer.
